Phony Life

by Kristin   Aug 17, 2004

What is it like to live in a phony life,
To lie to your friends, and cheat all the time,
You say you are pure but I just don't see it,
You copy off of work, you don't admit there's a crime.

You take home your projects and your parents do it for you,
You get an A+ and you put on a smile,
Yet, I know you are not who you truly say,
But soon enough you will have your own trial.

You will go off to college and be totally lost,
Who will do your homework and get you a good grade?
Your parents won't be there to do your work,
You will soon fall and it will all begin to fade.

I once thought you were smart but I became smarter,
I realized the truth behind you huge door,
That you are nothing, you will not get far,
I will keep on going and you'll become impure.
