Writing is all I really know how to do
The only way I can show myself to you
For some strange reason all the thing I say
Never seem to come out in my intended way…
Writing is the only way I really know
How I can let my truest and deepest feelings show
A release to me that is second to none
Pen and paper is always there after all is said and done…
Writing is something I can honestly appreciate
To often my hands can’t help but initiate
I find myself filling page after page
And its what I have done since the youngest age…
Writing is something that enables me to heal
The only time I can be me and me for real
I know my true self from my books and words
Cause I just can’t seem to get my voice heard…
Writing is where I can say exactly what I think
My words don’t get choked up my heart doesn’t sink
The best way I can honestly express
My so-called life, which is more of a mess…
Writing gives me the power to speak my mind
It’s one of the very few answers I’ve been able to find
I don’t think I have a gift it’s just how I am
When I'm in desperate need of sanity it’s how I can…
Writing is a part of me and that makes me so proud
My voice is so small yet my words speak so loud
To all those reader out here who comment and vote
You inspire my writing give me strength to cope…
