We both have rings

This started in June
and now I am confused

I met him at a party
and I thought he was a jerk

Then I saw him again
and he caught my eye

The two of us began spending time together

At first I thought it was nothing and now I realize it's something

We both have rings on our left hands

I am not his and he is not mine!

He has grown on me and I care deeply for him

Our emotions and feelings have gotten the better of us

Neither one of us know how far we should let this go

For I am not his and he not mine!

Yet, it's time to tell him that I think I am falling in love with him.
