A Backtrack from love

by PrincessJess   Aug 19, 2004

If tears could build a bridge
I was with you today
If broken hearts could fly
Over the worlds largest ridge
of morals and rules
I was with you to stay
My love for you
so deep and true
left me no choice
but to set you free
I scream without voice
Unbearable pain
My body is like an open wound
You are where ever I go
You are in my mind and my soul
I feel your tender touch
Oh, I want you so much
What have I done
to let you go?
Why couldn't I wait
to let it grow?
My life is a prision
My thoughts are not free
Day in and day out only agony
I'll be loyal to my man
for the rest of my life
but my heart is yours
you stole it from me
And the memory of you
cuts like a knife.
