Tonight I Say A Lil Prayer

Tonight I will say a little prayer,
A prayer to the Lord above,
One filled with an eternal thanks,
And appreciation for your love,
May God always watch you,
Whilst you are in your deepest sleep,
Guarantee your safety and your heart,
Bring you home for me to keep,
If the Lord should ever decide,
To take your soul from me,
Know I would be there only shortly,
I’d trade my life for your eternity,
My prayer to God with all my heart is true,
Just to give thanks and prove my love for you…

=I don't often write short poetry as i have so much to say but i thought i might try something different much love and thanks for reading - eirisa xoxo=

    Hey don't worry bout the short poetry thing! Girl,,your wrods were so strong just like a long one would be..I like this one a lot!! It had a lot of meaning to it and i enjoyed it! you did a GREAT job on this...but I'm sure the word great is on the top of your list..amazing!!
