One Bad Love

by Rachel Ellison   Aug 28, 2004

You're the one I loved,
And the one who made me cry.
You're the one I trusted,
The one who would always lie.
The heartbreak that you caused me,
And the pain that I went through,
Wasn't worth it after all
I wish I never met you.
But dealing with what I dealt with
Has really made me see,
That I am so much stronger now,
I formed a brand new me.
I am much more careful now
And not so reckless with my heart,
I have finally rinsed you away
I'm heading for a brand new start.
Now that pain that once lingered
Is no longer inside of me,
I went to the depths of my soul
And somehow set you free.
