Feelings I cant explain

I can’t explain these feelings
That live inside of me,
Each and everyday
With the pain no one can see.
It’s hard for me to face them
Like a demon in the night,
So I pretend that I am fine
And like everything’s all right.
But sometimes I just can’t take it
So all alone I cry,
My thoughts just overcome me
And I need a reason why.
Deep beneath the surface
Something isn’t right
It consumes my entire body
With a feeling I can’t fight.
So now I’m left weak
With no sense of control
It has finally taken over
And swallowed me whole.
