Stary Skies

It is a site that is often forgotten, one that contains so much beauty and riches.

The treasures that are held high within the sky are the brightest treasures that one will ever find.

The bright stars that light up a clear, peaceful sky, reminds me of diamonds in a jewelry shop.

There are many different sizes of stars, each containing their own beauty. Often, a pattern will form within the stars; one just has to open their mind and imagination.

The number of bright lights in the galaxy above are astronomical; there is no way that I can begin to count how many gems it takes to put a dim lit upon the face of darkness.

Shooting stars are very unique. The way they shoot across the black sky, leaving behind a golden dust trail is absolutely amazing. Quick, close your eyes and make a wish, for another precious light has fallen from the sky.

In the city, the leading lights do not seem very bright, few in number compared to the country sky. At the lake, or in a country town, there is blanket upon blanket of stars that fill the midnight sky on cloudless nights.

Whether it is hot or cold outside, the stars are always there, but not always seen by the naked eye. Occasionally a telescope must be used to keep these glorious beauties in ones view, than again, sometimes a simple pair of binoculars will do the trick.

The city lights that we have become accustomed to have also become a thief in the night, robbing the beauty out of our midnight sky.

The light poles that shine bright have hidden many stars from our mere human eyes.

Stars are the reason I prefer peaceful country nights; I love to stare at our golden gems shining brightly from beyond the endless midnight sky.
