You slowly faded away
always asking us not to stay
you didn't want us to see you that way
you wanted us to remember you back in the days
back in the days the way you were before the cancer
slowly dying out and going away
we wish we were able to say a proper goodbye
now we sit here all alone wondering why
why god has taken you
taken you from our sight
taken you from our family
now that you are gone we hold you in our memories, in our heart and i our prayers
this we say to god take care of Lucy for we will never forget her and await the day our family will be reunited in spirit and in heaven
