What They Didn’t Deserve (Really deep)

by Ian Robert   Sep 10, 2004

Hearing the cry,
From the mother,
As she holds,
Her gift to the world,
Knowing what must be done,
In her line of thought,
Holding the unknowing body,
Under the water,
A warm blanket of darkness,
The tears adding to the pool,
As it turns red,
Tasting the salt of her own blood,
Taking the soul,
To a world without hate,
The pain stops,
At the sound of a bullet,
Breaking the moral laws,
Death has taken another.
