The night.

by Robert SEGURA AKA SPUNTZ   Sep 13, 2004

People started boarding, with new dreams in mind.
Some had hopes of a new life, and would leave the old one behind.
It was a beautiful ship.None was like it.
It was the talk of the town, and everyone had to ride it.
This was its first time, its first time to sail.
The people didn't know in a few days it would be hell.
They said the ship was "unsinkable" but boy how they lied.Fate would prove them wrong on that one April night.
Its was a really big ship but not enough lifeboats.
They thought they where safe. They thought they had hope.
But then the night came,April the 14th.
She hit an iceberg and soon she would sink.
She wouldn't be found until 77years later.
But while she sat in wait, her legend grew greater.
I feel sorry for them lives,I know they where scared and they panicked. That beautiful ship took lives, and her name is TITANIC
