Sweet darkest abyss

Huge thanks to shadowmaker for the inspiration. I just read his comment and it said 'Keep it deep says the abyss' and that got me thinking. Apart from that it has nothing whatsoever to do with him. Just the idea. So, again, thanks.

Sweet darkest abyss
keep drowning me within your sorrows.
Deep heartless reminisce
keep crowning me within your gallows.
Pleading my insanity
and drinking my own blood to stay alive.
Bleeding my humanity
and shrinking not the glut you have for knives.
Words that were evanescent
now have me chained and snared.
This life is not effervescent
please have me once more spared.
