Twisted

by Jena   Sep 15, 2004

Dripping down my face, these tears start my fall.
The trance that comes along will numb the pain of your absence.

I've ceased the destructive encounters.
This life isn't what you promised me.
Who we were, will never be again.

The thoughts and visions of you have been scraped out of me.
When one of those begin, they end instantly, now...
I hide the missing pieces with my accomplishments, now...

Wonder what I'm doing...
Wonder who I'm with...
Wonder why thoughts of you aren't consuming me anymore.

You'll never get back what you never deserved.
