My mind wanders back,
To a day and time,
Where I was yours,
And you were mine.

The feelings still here,
The emotions always stay,
How could you have hurt me,
In this way.

You knew that I loved you,
And I thought that you loved me too,
But then I found out that your love was in another girl,
And that girl loved you.

The feelings that you two had,
Were to strong to be broken,
The feelings that I had,
Were to harsh to be spoken.

But when I finally got over you,
I had a new guy that I was dating,
And you came running back to me,
And you expected me to be waiting.

Well just to let you know,
I am over you now,
I am over you for good,
I am over you as much as my heart will allow.
