At The Station

August 10th is already here...
This is a day I'm gonna hold dear!!
A day I said bye to an awesome friend.
I'm hoping our friendship will never end!!

I went to the station, not knowing what to think.
The more we spoke, my heart began to sink.
We spoke of good times, we spoke of bad.
We spoke of happy, we spoke of sad.

The time eventually came...it's time to dismiss.
I thought to myself.."I'm not ready for this!"
We stood up...I cried and so did she.
It was then I knew our friendship was meant to be!

I hugged her firmly...nothing else to do.
I told her that I love her...she said "I love you too!"
It was the first day I ever saw her cry...
Even tho it felt somewhat good, it made me wanna die!!

I didn't wanna let her go, even tho I had to.
Her last words were, "Gen, I'll never forget you!"
I miss her already...I wish she could see!
No matter what happens, Best Friends we will be!!

    gosh girl you almost made me cry> it makes me remeber the last day i spent with my bestfriend b4 i moved. i miss her so dearly. Beautiful poem *Heather

That poem is sad but it's great... i will cry too the day i'll have to say goodbye to my best friend aka: dominican sis... i couldn't pictures my life w/ out her ( we r partnes in crime lol)... i hope u and ur best still talk cuz hey theres nutting like best friends.....
