Time

by Jacki   Sep 21, 2004

What is time but a clock
you buy at the department store.
Something you wear upon
you wrist.
What is time but a passing
memories, and a faded glance.
Wishful thinking to the
unknown future.
Time looks back
and time looks forward,
time knows all just waits for your
perfect arrival.
Will you dress in all black
or will you dress for a ball?
Will time tell your darkest
secrets or you hidden desires?
Time is universal,
its something we all share.
Time does not judge you,
yet we judge time.
We judge our past
and the past will consumes us.
Bringing forth a new era,
the beginning or the end;
of the time we know so well
as our life upon mother earth.
Time is my wilting flower
death is uneatable.
Time will continue
and time will go on,
But my time is shortly coming
to an end.
