I Never

I never shed a tear for you
It’s just something I’d never do
I never told you how i feel
But that doesn’t mean my feelings aren’t real
I never let you know how much I hurt
I refuse to be treated like dirt
I never let your love in
Scared of what it might begin
I never felt like this before
Which means I’m haunted that bit more
I never let my feelings die
You are ever present in my minds eye
I never stopped loving you
Now there’s nothing I can do

You never knew and never will
That forever more I’ll love you still

This poem is written with one person in mind. David Hastings. Anyone who reads this & knows me will be shaking there heads & tutting right now. But I just can’t help the way I feel. Quite honestly I don’t think I want to!
