Middle school love

****this poem is dedicated to Nick and Kate, the couple who gives us hope! may you to be together for a long time!*****

she complained she wanted someone
someone who understands
someone to listen
who would hold her hand

he had a care free lifestyle
nominated class clown
but in his heart he wanted
someone close when he was down

the he gave it up
and she settled to wait
there paths crossed
it seemed clear as fate

hand in hand
his face nuzzled to her cheek
united in admiration
they will last longer then a week

her eyes have a new found sparkle
a true smile is plastered to his face
both learning and loving
at there own steady pace

an inspiration to all
of what middle school love could be
we're told not to believe
but you two feel meant to be

    the worse part is after i wrote this poem she dumped him the next day! i felt so bad! like i was bad luck or something! lol!

    Awwwww...this poem I "LOVED" and I never say that to other people on their poems, but this poem inspired me to think of my past of being in Middle School:) Keep it up with the wonderful, beautiful work!!!     Awww, such a sweet poem. And so true! My parents started dating in middle school and now they've been married for 20 years. I wish those two luck as well! And great poem!
