Pretty girl

by Lexy   Sep 23, 2004

Clear tears fall from her eyes
as she looks in her reflection
behind her pretty disguise
drama and sorrow
is what shes been through
but thats not something
an average stranger ever knew
this girl crys every night in bed
hoping for love
but getting heartbreak instead
her parents always fight
then drink to wash away the crys
poor pretty girl
was raised in denial and lies
she was taught that alcohol
takes away all the pain
now this pretty girl
is hardly ever sain
she takes her own hand
and wipes away her tears
feeling as if her whole life
was just a waste of years
