Not being able to forgive and forget

Though we have gone our seperate ways
Memories of you will always stay
One year eight months may not be long
Still i have got the taste of both love and pain
You used to catch me when i fall
Now i am left with myself to walk
You cheated on me twice
All i could do was cry
My heart was aching so much
I was breaking apart
Time passed
I thought i could heal
I was wrong
Regretful
You helped along the way
Still i couldn't
I forgave, couldn't forget
Guess i was afraid
Now that i have chose to walk away
I hope it's not too late to say
I am sorry for not being able to forget
