When I can’t turn to you for support
It Hurts
Cause you won’ let me be me
I feel like at times you don’t care about me
It Hurts
When you say so many hurtful things
Behind my back and to my face
It Hurts
When I have to cry myself to sleep at night
Cause I feel you don’t accept me
For what I am
It Hurts
Cause you don’t love me 4 me
It Hurts
Cause you are always trying to change me
I always wonder way I carry all this shame around
When all this time it was you who helped me put up all these walls I’ve built
It Hurts
The most cause I don’t have your love and support for being gay
But you know what
I’m Ok

    first off, welcome to the site! i'm from nj too! well, i liked this poem very much. it's about you and how you feel about yourself. i kinda agree with robert but i liked how you worded it and how you ended the poem. keep it up. take care:)

    Tarrence the poem was ok but it seemed abit more of a victems stand point then any rather submissive. If you played a stronger role in the piece you may find alot more emotion you can evoke out of it but good read anyway take a look at my work if you have the time
