Amazed at it all

by Mustardhart   Sep 29, 2004

The sun is high now
Clouds gathered amidst blue
Green covered lush brown earth
And I stand amazed at it all

White eyeball peeking through the keyhole
A wide grin, amused at a joke
Friends scattered around the globe
And I stand amazed at it all

Is it the song that I sing,
Or a new life born so sweet,
Is it a lost love I trusted so well?
And I stand amazed at it all.

Fields ripe with grain in September
Daffodil growing unnoticed by all
High majestic mountains, seem to say 'you are sheltered'
And I stand amazed at it all.

One day goes, without my comprehending
A camelleon changing with each second
Reveals the beauty of the rainbow
And I stand amazed at it all.

I am blessed, I am honored
By so much blessings and good
With the life and health, that is wealth
And i stand amazed at it all.

Life is a gift, so I must agree
With rules and laws guiding it
To ignore this, is a ruse, a facade
And must stand amazed at it all

The passing pains will soon turn gain
And a higher hand from the sky rescue
While I wait, I must be able to constantly trust
And to always stand amazed at it all.
