Wrong again

by Kay   Sep 29, 2004

From the moment our eyes met
one by one i began to forget
all of my childish fears
you always knew just what to say
and your gentle kiss would wipe away
all of my pointless tears
you know everybody swore
they had seen this before
said that we'd be fine
soon you would come to see that you did love me in good time
i knew this time that i had found
the one to build my life around
not just my lover but my closest friend
after everything my heart had put me threw
i just knew that it would be safe with you
this special love we had could and would never end
i was wrong again
Everyone told me there's nothing that you can do
its just something that hes going threw
it seems to happen to a lot of men
i always said that they were right
that you would wake up and see the light
patiently i would have to wait till then
but i was wrong again
i told myself this pain wouldn't last
my chance for happiness hadn't passed
something waited for me around the bend
so sure i would eventually find someone
to heal this damage you had done
my poor heart would soon mend
but i was wrong again
yea i was wrong again
