It's Over

All those months,
That I sat there,
Listening to you,
Its hard to believe I ever cared.

Now when you come on-line,
Or try to talk to me,
I don't really care,
But now I finally see.

I never liked you,
In the way I thought I did,
I guess I had a lot of time to think,
When you ran and hid.

Every time we talk,
I feel so bad,
Because I think you still like me,
It makes me so sad.

But then I tell myself,
That it was never there,
That I don't really love you,
That I don't really care.

Though I think of you often,
It's as if your a friend,
That's one thing I won't let go of,
Something no one can bend.

Yeah I still feel unloved,
Everytime you talk of her,
But I know it won't work between us,
Though I'm still unsure.

I really like this other kid,
Unfortunately more than you,
But after that smile you gave to me,
I'm having second thoughts too.

But no wait it's over,
I don't love you hun,
But I'll never forget the good times,
And all of our fun.
