Promise

Can you hear me smiling?
Can you touch my pain?
Will you watch me closely?
Make sure I stay sane?

Keep me warm in cold times,
Wash away my fears.
Wrap me up in silence,
Wipe away my tears.

Will you see me softly,
Lying in my bed?
Will you sigh so slowly,
And kiss my sleepy head?
