Such Sweet Sorrow

by Kirsty Koo   Oct 3, 2005

A tear rolled down her rosy cheek
For thoughts alone in night times bleak

The thought of him gone swallows whole
The wakeful anguish of her soul

She tastes the sadness of her might
Closes her eyes and holds him tight

Burst, their bubble of Joy is gone
And replaced inside, an empty one

He pulls her in a tight embrace
She reaches up to touch his face

It comes to her in waves of sorrow
That he'll be gone this time tomorrow.
