Sounds

by Stephen Levant   Oct 8, 2004

The cacophony of street life! Various and sundry sounds combine in an orchestra of life telling the tale which must be writ...and life composes its own canvas. Water colors splash with each step taken. Jesters and gentlemen, ladies and lap-dances, each march to the beat of a different drum not realizing that on its most basic level the beat is the same.

Tonight, I find myself an animal. Tomorrow, I am in a cage and tame. Internal rhythm synchronizes itself counter clock-wise in an effort to hold back the night. When thought of, age need not be a fright.

The bridge becomes a turning point in the composition as choices are made. In darkness, I am ever more a shade. A mark on a page, denoting tonality, is one of many. I am experience and cacophony.
