My Reason

I could be the happiest person alive,
Yet i wouldn't know,
All i seem to do is mess up,
Leaving me sad and wishing to go.

So many people have left my life,
they found a reason to move on,
All i have left are the memories,
Dreams and wishing that they had not gone.

I know people want different things,
But why is it me who's left behind?
I try to make something of myself,
But who i am meant to be, i cannot find.

Like a lost soul, wandering across the earth,
Searching for a reason to be,
I just want someone to say those words,
That they love who i am, me for me.

Then maybe i will believe i have a reason,
Someone who i can watch and love,
I'm just hoping that i find them soon,
So i won't be watching their life without me, from above.
