My One True Regret

by Natalie Forest TL   Oct 13, 2004

Hates a strong word,
Yet I use it everyday.
You made me like it more and more,
It is the only word I say

It must have never been love, mistaken for lust.
Because when I think of you I am filled with disgust.
The way you are the things you said.
In everything you told me I was always mislead.

The pain you have caused, the tears I have cried
Lay dip within, they are burried inside.
Never to see you the way I once did.
To think I once liked you is so stupid.

If I could take my past away with you i would,
If only more people understood.
Many things in life I wish I could undue.
But my one true regret is the day I met you!
