I’ve lost the touch to write a poem,
All I do is think about you when I’m alone.
I can’t find the words to express how I feel,
Someone please pinch me and tell me this is real.
I love you so much; you’re my life,
I can’t believe you already have plans to be my wife.
This feels like a fairy tale, because our love is so strong,
I miss you so much during the week, five days seems too long.
We have so much in common, from quading to lacrosse,
I didn’t see you enough on the weekends, so I yelled at my boss.
There’s no doubt in my mind we can't last forever,
As long as you don’t give up on me I’m yours forever.
From the way that I hold you to the way that we kiss,
To the long boring school days, only you is what I miss.
I could never ask for someone more special than you,
I’ll be by your side through thick and thin,
Never doubt my love, not even for a min.
