In a Moment

by Angela   Oct 16, 2004

In a moment
Everything can change,
Life can start out one way
Then suddenly rearrange.

Times with friends seem great
Then turn to a deep black,
Things switch around quickly
Blinding you from looking back.

Everything passes you by
Ignoring your existence,
Smiles turn upside down
Showing your resistance.

You try to let go
To stop this agonizing pain,
You're bleeding inside yourself
Feeling like nothing will be the same.

Even though you hate this world
Something keeps you here,
Nothing too important
But something that is truly sincere.

Don't stress about it
Say what you feel,
Every spoken word counts
And soon you will heal.

In a moment
Everything can change,
Life can start out one way
Then suddenly rearrange.
