Rocking out

by Lexi Lou   Oct 16, 2004

Singing into a hairbrush
in front of my mirror
not noticing my flaws
but overcoming a fear

if only i could be like this
every hour of every day
looking at myself
in this uncritical way

but lo and behold
i notice an in perfection
so here comes the work out
to rid myself of my bad reflection

i have to be perfect
I'm trying to figure out for who
and why i feel
i have to do all that i do

but yet i cant stop
a goal i have to obtain
its not impossible
and its not in vain

but when I'm bobbing my head
and rocking out
with no self doubt
thats what life's about
