Someone

Theres someone out there crying
that i wish i could save
theres someone slowly dying
someone held at gunpoint in a cave

theres someone losing a loved one
theres someone drinking there life away
theres someone who's going bankrupt
someone who's learning crime doesn't pay

theres someone being abused
someone being teased
a child ridiculed
for standing up for what they believe

theres parent burying children
theres kids losing site
theres crying and dying
and running away into the night

theres people being molested
people with disorders
people with cancer
whose life isn't in order

theres people with low self esteem
people who cant help but cut
people with no one to listen
people who are stereo typed and shut

people who want to die
and people who actually are
people who's life sucks
aren't very far from where you are

theres so much pain
that i cant solve
to try to help would be
like trying to make the world not revolve

stating this pain
wont make yours hurt worse
wont stop you from crying
or living out a curse

but if your out there somewhere
its not fair and I'm sorry i got
a great, and wonderful life
and it seems you did not

    Well....I'll give it a.....TEN!!!! This was really good. I'm at work and right now I'm trying to keep it together. It made my belly hurt, my eyes water, and it sent chills down my spine. Really it did. I'm going to read some of yours and will be looking for me in the future. This is being sent to my favorites. Good Work Lexi. I'm so happy to know that there are other people out there who care, who think of others and don't complain about the small things in their lives that don't make them happy. You must remember someone out maybe not even far from you has it i worse than you do. It's even in the people who left you comments. You all are good people. I admire people such as yourself Lexi. I am not a creepy person, please don't think that, I am just far from being selfish and self centered and really notice when others are the same.

    thank you all! i wrote this poem becuase i read a truly life awaking book called the perks of being a wallflower and it made me think of all the wrong in this world and how lucky i am....so yas
