Dancing In The Rain

by SamiJo   Oct 18, 2004

So many times the rain has fallen,
and I always thought it ruined my day
Until one stormy summer night,
you took me out to play.
Rain pounding on our back,
harder with every minute.
Deeper in love I fell for you
every second we were in it.
Your bouncy curls soon were loose
and dangled in front of your eyes,
Raindrops dripped from your chin
as you looked up at the sky.
Clothes completely drenched,
wet from head to toe.
It was getting colder now,
as the wind began to blow.
You grabbed my face & stole my heart
then presented me with a smile.
We took off running through the rain
holding hands all the while.
Everytime it begins to rain,
I think of you and me
And that stormy summer night
when I gave my heart away for free...
