Hollow Darkness

by Atahan Tolunay   Oct 20, 2004

Whats this sound I hear again
Middle in the night while I sleep
Something icy goes through my vein
The fear strikes hard and deep

Down the stairs I go to see
Face my fears I have to do
I start to make a count to three
Down I go my heart is true

Never ending stairs I face
Infinitely deep darkness I pass
I wonder what is this place
It's myself I have to surpass

Bottom and the end I've reached
Only to find an empty hole
This darkness I have now breached
I look into my own soul
