Memories now all we have
so many times together
cant remember any of them bad
why did god have to take you,
steal you away from us?
i don't understand why
such a great person,
has to leave his family
you made everyone laugh
i cant believe your really gone
how is this true?
how could this happen to you
i wish this was all a dream
that we will wake up
playing in the sand
complaining about our lives
but never knowing how good we had it,
not knowing how much more time we had
such a role model to your family
just a swig or 2 and you were gone
just like that, how can we ever move on?
memories will forever linger
not a day will pass that we wont think of your laugh
how funny you always were
your humor everlasting in our hearts
but this cant replace your essence
the true you
we will miss you so
you touched so many peoples hearts
i doubt you knew that

you died without a chance to say goodbye
someday we will meet again
in heaven you and me
i cant wait for that day
the day we hug and laugh all night
until then i will never forget you
