Anywhere

A midst the dawn, one day not long ago, i
met up with a common feeling we all know
that felt so good, i couldn't imagine letting go.
All my life, I'd longed for that cool gentle breeze
to sweep me off my feet and make me weak to my
knees. I finally found it,' i thought, NOW, take
me away! To farrow places where midnight seems noonday
I have no idea where that may be, i just know i wanna go!
Anywhere, anywhere...I don't know...'

We walked the beaches in Cosmo and watched the
fireworks and the sunrise. We were dancing on the
stars and sharing secrets by candlelight. I cant
wait to see where we go next,' I thought. So, let's
set sail-Let's be on our way! We'll count the stars as we go...
Anywhere, anywhere...I don't know..'

But things got bad and things got worst, all my best
seemed to fade away, including my heart, the smiles
and even the words...I didn't know what to say, so i packed
all my things and headed for the bay, where the birds chirped
happy tunes and sang the day away. I knew it wouldn't last
forever, and like everything, it fades, but the day my
forever came crashing down was the day it went away.

The feeling i felt that opened up my eyes, sent chills
down my spine, and put the stars back in the skies. I keep on
saying, someday,' but someday never comes, and I tell
myself, I'll be OK even tho it's me he doesn't love.'

I'd go down through the valleys and out past the seas, climbing
every mountain in sight if the wind would come get me, please.
It took me better places before and when the wind comes, I guess
I'll go..
