What happened to us?

Three years ago
was when we met
best friends we became
that day ill never forget

we were inseparable
never stopped talking
never left each others side
our friendship seemed never ending

we got along great
had Little fights
but that never stopped us
from talking all night

said wed be friends forever
all through high school too
i knew this couldn't be
how could it all be true

they say to never fight
over a little guy
thats in your life
for a little time passing by

but why was this an exception
how did we let this be
be the breaking of us
all this is driving me crazy

but you just don't seem to notice
