Lonely Inside

by Anastasia   Nov 2, 2004

The dark tears in her sleep
hit her like a bat on a baseball
The deep thoughts scar her
like skin when scratched
She dreams of loving arms
holding her tightly
She's lonely inside
She falls and asks for help
but no one seems to care
She cries through the night
but no one seems to hear it
She lingers through the city
but no one seems to see her gentle face
She's lonely inside
Her heart thrives for someones
eyes to gaze at through the night
Her lips long for touching
on someone else's lips
Her ears miss the soft
whispers of someones voice
She's lonely inside
Why.....no on understands
