Not Being Friends

by Amy M Nguyen   Nov 3, 2004

Christmas is filled with tender loving care
Unfortunately, this year you won't be here
The other Holidays we spent I will cherish most
Because the love I hold inside is probably enough for both of us

Christmas is a time to share and give
I hope what I say to you, you'd believe
That I will miss you when you are gone
And that I'll be waiting for you until you come home

Although I don't get to see you anytime soon
As long as you're happy, my heart feels well too
What really goes on in your life I do not know
But remember, you can tell me anything cuz I'll be here as time flows

I often remember the friendship we had in the past
It was one of those that should have lasted
But it doesn't seem like being friends is one of your choices
So whatever I've just said, I realized now that there was no point
