Unconditional Love

by Ashley Marie   Nov 3, 2004

She's lying there,
beautiful,
her hairs done up
makeups on.

A single tear
rolls down her face,
pain replaces
beauty's grace.

A closer look
reveals the truth,
the makeup
covers up a bruise.

And no it's not
blue and black
its goes much deeper then that.

All the hits tinted her soul
painful memories
that will never go.

She's crying now,
starts to weep
blackened tears roll down her cheeks.

She seems to think,
in her mind
that nothing will ever be alright.

And then her man
sent from up above,
opens her eyes
and shows her love.

He's going to love her all the same,
he's here to take away her pain.

She's lying there,
beautiful,
filled with faith
hope and love.

Now she feels
him by her side,
and she knows
everythings gonna be alright.
