Maybe next time...

I have seen every tragedy
I have felt every pain
I have been to the bottom
Then farther down with shame

I have been to all the rehabs
I have swallowed all the pills
I have learned to act more happy
& I have learned good social skills

I have met all the psycos
& Become one too
But all I ever needed
Was just to be with you

I overtook my pills
I sliced my wrists with blades
I tried just to numb it all
But my will to live still fades

So now I have no answers
& Nowhere else to turn
This shit has been real good
Maybe next time I’ll learn
