The courage to fly

She saw an eagle today,
so mighty and strong he lead the way.
she looked into his eyes,
and saw courage, so vast and grand were they.
she looked at the wind that carried his wings,
and saw strength, so powerful and bewildering.
she took one last look and she looked at him,
so alluring was he and captivating,
she felt the need to follow.
The eagle that was so strong,
turned into a man.
He turned to her and said take my hand,
and I shall lead you to be free like me.
So she did and she closed her eyes.
with the power growing within her soul,
she spread her wings and flew away.
