A Special Treat

by Jacklyn   Nov 8, 2004

The day I bought Dan a snickers bar,
I think it was a silly dream.
For when I gave it to him he looked at me,
For this is the first thing he received from me.
Then he began to say, “This one I’ll be sure to eat,
For normally snickers I do not eat,
For I normally enjoy the delicious taste of Reese’s,
But this teat can’t be beat.”
I thought as I looked at him, with a smile upon my face,
“We can simply call it even if you give me a piece of your really special treat.”

~lol i know it's weird it's more of a joke me and this guy named Dan have but ya it's one of my few happy poems~
