My soul to keep

My heart is pounding lightly
My muscles are weak
I pray to the Lord
My soul to keep
The tears are coming
I can feel the pain
It was he who caused
This but has no shame
I am passing away
From a thing called aids
I wonder if I will wake the next day
I pray to the Lord
My soul to keep
Days get harder
And i constantly weep
I can't wait for the
Day I hurt no more
But until this day
I pray to the Lord
My soul to keep
