So True

by Cristina   Nov 14, 2004

One gesture that sought me
One touch that found me
His lips on mine is what taunts me

A passion that grows
And surpasses a joy
A desired revealed
In its deepest fears

I want to know his every thought
Explore every spot
That eventually draws
The sweetest map

I want to discover, what makes
Him laugh, what causes him pain,
And which eccentric position,
Will overrule him

When looking into his eyes
My stomach will flip
My heart will stop pumping
And my face will glow

I will guide his hand
Through the deepest secrets
And let him discover
The magic that’s in me

I’ll give myself to him
Like petals on a flower
And one by one I’ll fall with him

And when we’ve reached the highest mountain
He’ll whisper indulgence
And retrieve his most awaited prize

When our souls turn into one
And our bodies melt to glass
We’ll go back to reach the stars
To reach our true beings

As the morning rises
And the light reveals the sweat
Our lips trembling from exhaustion
He’ll say “I love you”
And take my heart away…..
