Bliss

by Cristina   Mar 21, 2005

From the ashes of the universe
And the passion of the sun;
Arises a persona like no other,
Who remains equal to all humanity.

With feet that have felt heat from the loneliest deserts,
Cold from the highest mountains;
And pain from walking on paths full of thorns.

Legs that have moved to the rhythm of paranoia,
And have danced to the beat of fear.

Hands that abstract the heart,
And squeeze with such determination,
That life itself has left the core.

Arms that have dropped so many pieces of the puzzle;
But have managed to carry the pain of so many people.

Fingers that have penetrated the very essence of dirt,
And have actually touched the sky.

Eyes that have shed tears like the rain;
And seen things that should never be told.

Lips that lack the indulgence of a bittersweet kiss,
And the touch of a tender finger.

A smile that has touched so many lives,
But is quickly fading away.

A body that is in probation of admiration,
And is lost in the purpose of hallow.

A soul that has no path, no color, no mist;
But doesn’t require a look of pity.

A heart that bathes in the will of darkness;
But never stops beating.
