THE WALL

by Cristina   Jan 15, 2007

Blank to the rhythm
Sickening memories devour my brain
It takes me in, holds me, but pushes me to him

Crawling, begging, crying
On the floor grasping for air
Down, completely pressed

Scared in between worlds
Can't make up my mind
Crazy to taunt you, delirious to love you

Jumped, rushed blood to my brain
Bounced in between and danced to my pain
Spun around in sorrow, delivered my voice to hate

Stronger in time
We're ugly together, but I feel alive
And you'll be back

Write your name there
I'll scratch it off, exhausted in the attempt
Selfishly played me and didn't remember to save me

Now taller, above you
If you were real, my dreams would be only dreams
The earth beneath, the snow within, nothing lies behind

Wont give you what you want
Ugly to my eyes, I lost you
Your quest never suited your thoughts

You'll delay in your sleep
Walk around my heart
Feel the venom through your soul

Snapped and delivered my strength
Pulled you with a soft whisper
Back and forth they said, must be somewhere inside

No more victims, revenge broke us
Pendulums never stop
Let it all get away

Used to move mountains
Now the grass obeys my footsteps
No motives yet

Got caught up in his world
Sarcasm led my way
I'm back, say hello
