Deadly Love

by jenni   Nov 15, 2004

Rest in peace the gravestone says
But how in peace can I lay
When you still walk, your life free
And I lay, my body slayed.

You didn't even look human
When you lurched the knife in me
Collapsing to the floor I cried
Yet you still laughed in glee.

You always were so dominant
And so it was best for me to go
And so I said goodbye for good
But obviously that wasn't so.

You came back, a drunken state
Did you plan it carefully?
Stabbed me all over 26 times
Because you still loved me.
