War

by Sabrina   Nov 15, 2004

I can't believe the life's you stole,
Children, adults; you stole them all,
The shots of the guns were oh so loud,
Why did you do it? Are you proud?

The war began,
They were all scared,
Because of you they ran,
It's you they feared.

The bombs dropped down,
Cries of anger and fear,
You bombed their town,
Everywhere were tears.

They cried and screamed,
They tried to escape,
What seemed a bad dream,
Why was it happening to this place?

Why did these men want to see them dead?
Why did they shoot people in the head?
Innocent people of all ages,
Fear in everyone of their faces.

A little girl cried out loud,
,,Mommy, mommy where are you now?"
She turned to see her mother dead,
Lying there with a bullet in her head.

An older lady looked all around,
Nowhere was her husband to be found,
There he was burried under wood,
She looked up; in front of her a soldier stood.

He held the gun to her breast,
She screamed with fear as the bullet went through her chest,
She fell to the floor,
Pain she felt no more.

War everyday,
Innocent people dying,
Being killed in horrible ways,
Everybody's crying.
